Silver and ivory glitter houses along with a vintage silver tree greet guests as they enter our foyer.
Candles light the way up the stairs.
Fabric covered ornaments adorn the banister's garland as well as our Christmas tree which was grown in our hometown! The ornaments were made from remnant fabric from chair cushions. The same fabric is repeated in our window treatments and sofa cushions.
Handmade sheep are placed in a vignette along with ivory bottle brush trees.
Cotton boll garland instead of ribbon was placed on the tree. While making our fabric rag ornaments I also made these easy- as- pie yarn ornaments to complement the sheep tree topper on our tree.
A bird tree along with pine cones and garland bring a nature inspired touch of Christmas to the den.
Our dog, Cozmo, was sacked out while I was taking this picture and I didn't have the heart to wake him. He is our 16 year old love who was living underneath a shed with his siblings when we rescued him as a pup. We think he has chihuahua in him but we're not sure what else. Some have speculated he's part mouse but we just say he's a chiwhatareyou.
Our dining room decor was inspired by this deer canvas found while Christmas shopping.
A gilded antler wreath surrounds candles while antlers from a broken reindeer statue were recycled to dress up a place setting.
Finding a special way to display a cherished ornament from my grandmother was a priority this year.
Christmas in our bonus room is very casual and all about the flocked tree with cherished family ornaments.
A Santa tree topper was found a few years ago at Black Lion and his buddy is at the bottom of the family tree.
A lantern from my husband's grandfather and below- not the most attractive shelf...but it's actually part of the bleachers from our old high school gym where my husband played on the basketball team! I plan on adding pictures from his days on the court after the holidays. For now a hand-carved nativity scene is displayed here.
I decided to bring back my clay pot Christmas tree which I created last Christmas on our outdoor fireplace.
